Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (AMMROC), the leading MRO Center in the region, took part in the Defense Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 16-19 April 2016.
Mr. Fahed Alshamesi, AMMROC CEO, headed the AMMROC delegation accompanied by Mr. Salah Elian, CEO Advisor, and Mr. Bernard Kelleher, CCO, along with key members of the Commercial team.
“Our participation in DSA 2016 reflects not only the growth of AMMROC, but the prosperity of the MRO industry in the region overall,” said Mr. Fahed Alshamesi, AMMROC CEO.
DSA is organized by the Malaysian Ministry of with over 26 International Pavilions and more than 300 VIP Delegations from above 44 countries.
The highlight of AMMROC’s participation in this exhibition was the signing of an MoU between AMMROC and Destini Berhad in establishing an MRO Center of Excellence, specializing in aircraft escape systems at AMMROC’s new facility in Al Ain.
“Together with Destini Berhad we will provide the foundation to work together to deliver the necessary knowledge and skill transfer of aircraft escape systems to AMMROC. This collaboration will be based out of AMMROC’s new facility in Al Ain, and will be one of the largest, state-of-the-art military MRO centers in the world, delivering aircraft maintenance and safety to the UAE and SAMENA region.” Alshamesi added.
